- Choice of models, from E-150 up to E-450 Super Duty Cutaway, with a range of maximum GVWRs up to 14,500 lbs.
- Choice of engines, from the 225-horsepower 4.6L V8, to the 255-horsepower 5.4L V8 (both Flex Fuel capable), to the 305-horsepower 6.8L V10 (gasoline)
- Choice of non-limited-slip and limited-slip rear axle ratios
- 2-passenger or up to 5-passenger Crew Van
- Standard 8 to 15-passenger seating on Wagons, available 7-passenger seating on XLT Premium Wagon
INSTRUMENT PANEL – INSPIRED BY F-150 AND SUPER DUTY
E-Series’ instrument panel was inspired by the F-150 and Super Duty. Designed to be functional and user friendly, it features:
- Prominent center stack with easy-to-reach switches
- Easy-to-read gauge layout
- Glove box with and additional power point
- Available two-line Message Center featuring miles-to empty and fuel economy numbers
- Center console with storage, an integrated clipboard holder, shelf for laptop and three large cup holders
- Storage tray located above the passenger airbag
NEW FOR 2011 FEATURES AND PACKAGES
- AdvancTrac with RSC (Roll Stability Control) is now standard equipment on all Vans
- The 3.73 axle ratio is standard on 4.6L E-250 Commercial Vans
- The 4.10 axle ratio is standard o 4.6L E-250 Regular and Extended Length Commercial Vans with the Crew Van package
- Fuel tank capacity of 33 gallons on Commercial Vans and at midship on Cutaway
- 225-amp extra-heavy-duty alternator is now available with the 5.4L V8 engine
- HD Radio compatibility is included with the available Premium Combination Navigation/Audio System
- Ambulance Prep Package is now available with the 5.4L gasoline V8 engine. Note: 5.4L engine is not Flex Fuel capable with this package
- 9900-lb. GVWR replaces 9600-lb. GVWR on E-350 single-rear-wheel Cutaway models with 5-speed TorqShift transmission
- Limited-slip rear axles
- Crew Chief is now available with in-dash computer
